Here’s an example of TMI, or Too Much Information, during a conversation:
Person A: “I had a rough night with stomach issues and was in the bathroom for hours!”
Person B: “Whoa! TMI! I didn’t need to know that!”
In this case, Person A shares personal experiences that Person B finds too graphic. The term “TMI” is used to politely indicate that the conversation has gone too far. You can also read what does tmi mean for more information and you can use it without any doubt.
